Contribute

The wiki is open to anybody with a login on MakingThings.com.  Once you're logged in, you can head over to the wiki section.  Once there, you can add files, pages, and images, and edit existing documents.

Adding Content

To add content, click the "Add New..." button in the top right, which looks like:

You can choose between the different types of content - each will present you with an appropriate edit screen.

Editing Pages

Once you've added some content, you'll probably want to make it more easily visible.  To do this, you can edit an existing page and add a link to your content.  To see all the content in a folder (the content you may have just added, for instance), you can click on the Contents tab at the top left - if a page hasn't been linked to, you can always find it this way.  Once you get to the page you want to edit, click on the Edit tab - this will present the page in edit mode where you can add a link to your content.  Once you've edited your page, press Save at the bottom left and you're all set!
