Interactive Projection: Girl With Dog

Project Description:
Depending on your outlook this project was either playful or mildly disturbing. We include it here, not because we're endorsing underage drinking or any of the other slightly odd themes that may or may not be part of the piece, but because it is a good example of a simple yet effective installation made with Teleo.
The piece is set in a small room. Just inside the doorway (which is as far into the room as you can go without becoming part of the artwork) there is a pressure mat that acts as a trigger. When someone stands on it, a pump starts up pumping water out of the shower faucet on the back wall. At the same time, a video is started and an image of a barking dog is projected onto the little screen. When you stop standing on the mat, the water stops running and the barking dog goes away.
The little girl doesn't do anything except look surly.
The shot of the computer and the electronics shows the Teleo system, the video of the video that will be projected and a bagel that is, as far as we know, unrelated to the project. In fact, it might have belonged to the photographer.
