The Power Connect Block is a very simple device. It was designed to solve the problem that occurs in some projects where there are multiple devices that are powered by V+. The power supply can be connected to any one of the six connectors, so that +V and 0V are then available for easy connection at all the other connectors.
How Do I Use This?
Cut off any connector your power supply might have, and strip about 1/8" insulation from its leads and tin the exposed wires. If you don't already know, determine with a multimeter which lead from your power supply is positive, and which is negative. Screw the end of the positive lead into the +V side and the negative/ground lead into the 0V side of any of the 6 available connectors on the board. Now, any other devices that run from +V can be powered by the remaining 5 connectors.
Applications
Great for powering lights, displays, or anything else that needs to be on whenever your project is running, all from one power supply.
