Breakout Block

When connecting multiple input devices to another Block, the Breakout Block saves having to put 4 x 5V and 4 x 0V wires into single screw terminals on the other Block.

How Do I Use This?
Supply power to the Breakout Block on either one of the two sets of +V/0V/5V connectors. Connect up to four sensors, or other input devices, to the Input 0-3 connectors - positive from the sensor to 5V, negative/ground from the sensor to 0V, and signal from the sensor to the appropriate I 0-3 slot. Then, pass the signals from the Breakout Block outputs (O 0-3) to their destination by connecting a piece of wire from the appropriate output to an input (on a Poly/Servo/Stepper Block or Intro Module, for example).

Applications
- Simplify Your Wiring. Screwing all the separate power wires for each of the 4 sensors into the connectors on a Poly Block, for example, requires doubling up the wires in the connectors. This makes for a less secure connection, and can damage the connector. The Breakout Block uses just one power connection on the Poly Block and splits that power to each of the sensors.
