TELEO™ TOOLS

Teleo is a line of hardware tools that provide an easy way to create unique interactive devices, machines, and environments by controlling a wide range of sensors and actuators. Teleo Blocks are the easiest to use for simpler interactive projects, while Teleo Modules allow for computer control when your applications require it.

Update! - we've made some progress on porting the Teleo Max/MSP objects to Universal Binaries, such that they can be used with Intel and PPC Macs with Max 4.6. Check the Teleo downloads page for details.

Note - MakingThings no longer manufactures Teleo modules. This site now serves only as reference and support.

teleo™ modules

user guides

starter kit

Control projects from your computer by USB with Teleo™ Modules. Use sensor input to trigger your animation in Macromedia's Flash, create a unique performance interface for real-time audio and video processing with Cycling 74's Max/MSP/Jitter, or incorporate Teleo into your C/C++ application with our C/C++ SDK.

See the complete list of Modules.

teleo™ blocks

user guides

starter kit

Quickly create simple, standalone, and embeddable projects with Teleo™ Blocks. A variety of built-in behaviors mean no computer (or programming) is required to build interactive applications. Control servo and stepper motors, set a timer, compare and perform simple logic operations on incoming sensor values, and more.
