New to MC - music project with Max-MSP

Hi,

My name in Claude Frenette. I am a composer living in Montréal, Québec.

I just received two MakeControler Kit with 4 xbee pro. This material is completely new for me. I recently did a wire project using the Interface Z 8ana8num MIDI board and some sensors (http://www.interface-z.com/).

First project:

I plan to build a wood cube controler that will include two sensors : an accelerator and a tilt sensor bought on the Electrotap Web site (http://www.electrotap.com/sensors/T302DE.shtml) and a couple of buttons. Output from these devices will control synths and sampler in Max/MSP. Idealy, i want this cube to communicate wireless with the computer (a Macbook pro running 10.5.4 and Max 4.6.3). I am not a pro in Max but i did some good projects with it so the max programming is not my big problem.

For the moment, i try the MC and i found how to receive information from it in Max using the mc.usb object. Problem is the xbee that not seem to works for the moment. I will try to upload the latest firmware next week (i dont have a PC at home and it does not seems to work with virtual Vista machine (VMWare) on my Mac (is it true?).

Second project:

I would like to create a wireless glove controler with 2 bend sensors, one tilt sensor and some buttons.

I can't ask any question at this moment. I am in the exploration mode with the material. But If you have any suggestions to help me starting with everyting, feel free to write me.
