Make Controller -> I2C -> Servo Controller?

Greetings,

I would like to be able to extend the number of servos my Make Controller can interface with by talking to this servo controller: http://www.robotshop.ca/home/suppliers/devantech-en/devantech-sd21-servo-controller.html over I2C.

I have yet to do any projects involving I2C on the MC, and have found suprisingly little information here about it.

First off, is what I would like to do possible/reasonable?

Is there any good documentation out there for how to send commands from the Make Controller to another device using I2C?
