running very powerful stage lights? without dmx?

hi i am working on a project that needs to sync some powerful stage lights to audio playing through max/msp. i thought maybe the make controller could do this job but i am worried about running that much power through it? does anyone know if there are any type of dimmer switches i can hook up to the make controller and lights, that would allow me to control the dimmer switch, without running power through the controller, so kind of like a dimmer gate device?? any other solutions or any help is appreciated, thank you!

the lights are 500 watts each i believe, and we are trying to hook up at least 2
