digitalout/0/value 0 only send by manually clicking

Hi

I have a max patch that sends the following messages to the mc.usb object

digitalout/0/value 1

and

digitalout/0/value 0

Now if I click the message boxes manually in my patch, the message is sent fine. . . .

However if the message boxes receive a 1 through the normal operation of the patch they don't send the message to mc.usb.

This problem seems to go away if I remove the digitalout/0/value 0 message
