Flash CS3 + mchelper not communicating.
Up to Flash
Running CS3 w/AS3 and the new mchelper. Uploaded a new firmware. When I run mchelper I can send commands to the board.
Started building a library of AS3 OOP classes reflecting the modules I hope to share soon.
When I run the flash files on my laptop, the swfs are not connecting.
I've run the same code at work and everything is fine. Only difference I can think of is I am running the latest OS at work on a macro tower and 10.4 on my mac book pro laptop. Not sure what I am missing? Do I need the ethernet connected even though I am running through the USB? USB alone worked fine at work.
I was hoping to demonstrate tweening the position of the servo at Flashbelt, but now I'm not sure :/
Can you provide more info about the failure? Is it the case that you just never see a connection from Flash in mchelper? Are you running them on the same machine?
I have heard some people claim that they couldn't get USB to work without the Network connected, but haven't been able to reproduce that myself...might be worth trying.
I'm just not getting a board to connect from the USB on my laptop at home. At work it was pretty much plug and play. It's been a while since I connected the system using ethernet. I just tried, but didn't get anything going. Very possible I don't have the network set up properly. I just tried using the network. Once again I can send commands via mchelper, but I'm not getting a onBoardArrived callback. It's as if mchelper isn't communicating with flash at all.
