problems with combining camera tracking script, within flash , and servo control

Posted by sean kerr at April 09. 2008

Hi.

I am trying to combine a simple camera tracking script, within flash, and a Osc script to control a servo via Mchelper.

My problem is that there seems to be some sort of conflict between the camera tracking script that is receiving info from the camera  and the servo script that is talking to MCHELPER. Only one or the other will work but not both.

I am kinda new to all this and I am wondering if anyone would know if you can run both a camera and mchelper connection at the same time or is there a conflict cause by something like using the same port , port 11000, or something like that???

If it is a port issue, how to do change the Mchelper port address ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

sean

Definitely can't share the same port. Open up the preferences in mchelper and change the port it's listening on for XML to something else.
