Teleo + Camera?

Hello,
I studying machine vision and responsive architecture at school this semester. I have a teleo intro module, and using flash or max I am interested in processing frames on the computer and then sending commands to the teleo from this interface.
How would I connect a webcam to max or flash and have it communicate with the teleo?
any tutorials or other websites I could check out would be awesome.

I haven't personally integrated live video with Flash (but maybe it's possible?) but I know it's pretty easy with Max (w/Jitter). There's a video-in object and then you have all sorts of options for treating and processing the incoming image.
I would recommend taking a look at the Jitter documentation - Jitter is the video component of the Max environment.
