New firmware release
Up to Development Discussion
So, after a little incubation period, we're finally released a 1.2.0 version of the firmware. One of the main problems was making sure that the code could be built properly with the free toolchains like GnuArm, WinArm, and YAGARTO. These should be pretty stable now, and we recommend upgrading to the newest version.
There's a new heavy.bin and a new source code package available for download at the Downloads section. As always, please let us know if you have any trouble!
I haven't compiled a changelog yet - would be a nice thing to have. But you can browse the changesets at http://dev.makingthings.com/timeline to get a rough sense of what has changed.
Hi
I just received my Make controller Kit, I started following the guide Getting started with linux as I am using Ubuntu Feisty and the last release of firmware. I reached the point where I should build tiny but after issuing the command make, I get the following error:
../controller/makingthings/controller.h:46:21: stepper.h: No such file or directory
I tried to find stepper.h in makingthings directory but I could not. I think you forgot to include to it.
Thank you
