newbie- downloading .net C#

Hi, I downloaded the .net assembly with the example projects, but do I need to download .net C# separately so I can start programming my board? I have not seen this download on the Make site, so where is a good place to get it? thanks for the help. Chris

Is it possible to run .net C# on a mac? Do pc emulators work well for this and is there one that works the best? Thanks

I'm pretty sure running C# on a mac (OS X) is not possible.
