mchelper non-connect

Newbie Here...

Plugged in the board and mchelper took a couple of minutes, but it came up in the app field.

I uploaded the latest frimware and the green "heartbeat" started up.

I powered down and back.

Relaunched mchelper and now it cannot find the Make controller baord.

This is no matter how long I wait.

WinXP does "ding-dong" when plugged into USB.

If you look in your Device Manager, do you see an "Unknown Device"? If so, try deleting it and unplugging/replugging the Make Controller. It may ask you to reinstall the USB drivers - go for it. From time to time, Windows can get a bit confused and leaves a little piece of garbage behind that prevents things from working properly.
