Help posting a tutorial needed

Posted by Bob Faulk at March 23. 2008
I've submitted a new tutorial on I2C hardware and software, but am having trouble putting the content into tutorial pages like the nicely formatted tutorials on this site. Because there is no option to create a new page in a tutorial, I've uploaded the sections of my tutorial as individual rtf files. Any assistance in creating new pages in tutorials is appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Looked at this one more time before going to bed. A button flashed by when I clicked on the "contents" tab and this button was immediately overwritten by the title bar of the contents table. If you quickly click on the button before it disappears, you can get to the screen which lets you add a page!

Thanks so much for this! As you've probably noticed I've just reviewed and published the info you submitted. Lots of people will benefit from this! I wonder if the issue of not seeing the 'add page' button is a little bug in the site setup. When I'm viewing any tutorials that I've written, I see that option in the 'add items' dropdown. Is that not there for you?

It seems that there is some kind of bug in the site setup. I've looked at it with Mozilla on my linux system as well as with IE7 on Vista. With both browsers, on the view tab of the tutorial view, the only options under the "add items" dropdown are "add file", and "add image". As long as you are fast and can hit the "add new item" button before it disappears (right after clicking on the "contents" tab), it is possible to add pages.

Ok - thanks for the report. I'll have a look at it.
