Upload Content to Your User Space


This How-to is intended for: Any audience.

Share your MakingThings-related content with the world.

Problem

You'd like to post info about MakingThings-related projects you've been working on.  This can include photos, code, text descriptions, or whatever else you have to share.

 

Solution

Register with the MakingThings website - you'll automatically be given a user space that you can upload content to. 

 

Discussion

  • Once you've logged in, click on the my folder link in the bar along the top of each page.
  • You'll find your folder is empty.  You can click on edit to change the description or title of your folder.  To add content, click on the add item menu, which should drop down a list of content types.  A page is a good one to start with.
  • Add images, or files, or whatever else you like. 
  • Your page will be available at www.makingthings.com/Members/yourusername - feel free to share this link!
