I programmed my board successfully when it arrived, but now it won't reprogram a second time. What is going wrong?

The board needs to be in SAM-BA mode for the firmware download under USB mode to work. We ship the board in this state, but once you program it, the board is now running your program, not SAM-BA.
One way to return to SAM-BA mode is to short the Erase jumper (borrowing a shunt from elsewhere on the board or using a screwdriver).
If you're working with "Heavy" or or other project with OSC and System code, the other way to get into SAM-BA mode is to send the board "/system/samba 1" using OSC. After either of these you will need to power cycle the board.
The end result is that Flash memory is erased and the next time the SAM7X boots, it runs in SAM-BA mode and is ready for programming.
