How much current does the Make Controller consume?

We are yet to formally characterized this. The SAM7X Datasheet

provides all the details you need to calculate exactly what the processor will consume on a peripheral by peripheral basis.

 

Our Controller Board Tester (which has current consumption measurement) reports a big variation depending on what software's running. With minimal SAM-BA (i.e. USB, not much else) running, the current is approx 35mA. When all guns are blazing - ethernet, usb, adc, leds, etc. we can get more like 150mA. The SAM7X offers all kinds of power consumption control mechanisms - a custom program could get pretty frugal.
