MC Electric Drums

I wanted to use Piezo sensors to make a drum kit without buying an expensive MIDI rack. So I wrote this program in C# using DirectX. All you do is hook up the piezos to the controller and load up heavy, no new firmware necessary. Works over Ethernet using the IP address. The program has settings you can adjust for response as well as some effects you can apply. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back!

File Update
I've updated the drumkit to provide some basic effects, you'll need to input the IP for the controller and add piezo units to the MC inputs. Compatible with .wav files. Requires .Net 2.0 and DirectX 9

Use the Autosend to lower the period (decreases delay but uses more resources), Use threshold to set how hard you have to hit the sensor in order to register. Use Vibration Damping to set how many samples to ignore after a hit (alleviates vibration triggering but MAY cause problems for drumrolls)

There are tons of DIY drum trigger instructions on the internet for triggering MIDI using piezos, just follow one of these, or you can use the cheap and easy setup. Note I only have 4 drums here, but the system works with up to 8. I'll be upgrading to tin cans soon...
